Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha - better popularly known as Gugu is a British stage and film actress. She gained fame after her role in BBC's 'Doctor Who' British science fiction television series. Handler started her career by becoming a member of the female-only Oxygen cast, which starred in a TV show known as Girls Behaving BADLY. This series was known for its hidden camera and practical joke. The show was on the air from 2002 until 2005. Handler then started appearing in other programs such as Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler started working for The Tonight Show as a correspondent. Handler got her big break in 2006, when she began hosting her own show on E! The show was titled Chelsea Handler. The show ran for 2 seasons. Handler was then seen in the United States in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend and HBO have broadcast Handler's standup shows.
